My next huge encaustic piece...6'x4'...tons of wax...lots of blow torching...at least 20 layers...many hours...finally I was happy...that is my ending point---I paint til I am happy! sometimes a lot of angst gets released in the process...and that is the truth...
I can't believe this is wax! It looks great in a pic, but I bet it looks amazing in person with all that texture.
